Good Version first
This quest takes alot of those Moon Tag Scalps that you find all around the Skraugs. Note: Rewards are random for this. Thanks to Dusk, who was the first of a few ppl to mention that one reward for this quest is an eye of the tiger.
First you take 5 scalps to Wajpoothin in green Skraug town to get just one Mace.
But you need to take 5 Maces to Khan Wulgworth in purple Skraug town just to get one Belt of Skraug Strength.
That means for each Belt you need (5 x 5=25) Moon Tag Scalps so you can get 5 Maces. If you can hold all that at one time, it would save a few trips anyway.
Thing is, the Sheriff in Stonecrest wants not just one but 3 of these belts!! Whew!
For every 3 belts, you get 1 Collector Book. So ... 3x25=75 scalps per Collector Book.
Now the Centaur King wants not one, but 5 Collector Books!!!!! (75 scalps x 5 =375 scalps). If you get him 5 Books, you get a Ring of the Lion. He says such a ring would give you great courage. The ring is equippable, but for the good people out there, if you take 2 Ring of the Lion to Beltigan, he will give you a reward. You get a Crystal Sword of Might or an Eye of the Tiger.. That means 375x2=750 scalps .... omg that is alot of scalps!!!!
Thanks for the email I got which gave me the NPC names and the inchannel math correction which confirmed the numbers I originally had and which are back now.. lol)
Now for you Baddies out there :)
Get the collector books the same way as the goodies do, through the scalps, or the obsidion assassins. YOU must take 3 of these Rings of the Lion, not two, to Sir Mordenthal, and he rewards you accordingly. you get EITHER a Cloak of Armageddon OR an Great Ax of the Crow. Thanks Tom, for adding the Ax!.
